How would you respond to a cracked windshield?

Cracked side window?

A

Cracked windshield: Descend below 25,000’, increase cabin altitude so that diff is 2.0 - 4.6 psi. Before landing, dump the cabin.

Cracked side window:
1. mask on and descend to altitude that does not require O2
2. reset cabin controller as req. to depressurize cabin (turn way up on outer ring for high cabin altitude)
3. hit dump switch (after reaching zero diff)
