Nerves Flashcards
Axillary nerve function and spinal cord level
Arm abduction >15 deg, sensation over deltoid muscle and lateral arm, C5-C6
Musculocutaneous nerve function and spinal cord level
Forearm flexion and supination, sensation over lateral forearm, C5-C7
Radial Nerve function and spinal cord level
Extension at all arm, wrist and finger joints below the shoulder, forearm supination, thumb abduction in plane of palm, sensation over posterior arm/forearm and dorsal hand, C5-T1,
Median nerve function and spinal cord level
Thumb flexion & opposition, flexion of digits 2 & 3, wrist flexion & abduction, forearm pronation, sensation over thenar eminence and dorsal & palmar of fingers 2, 3 and half of 4, C5-T1
Ulnar nerve function and spinal cord level
