What colors are used to represent the various displayed flight plans?

A
Active- Continuous Green line
Secondary- Continuous White Line
Temporary- Dashed Yellow Line
Alternate- Dashed Blue Line
Missed Approach- Continuous Blue Line
Flight Plan Capture- Continuous Green Line w/ computed intercept path
Data Base EO SID- Continuous Yellow Line

TOP of DESCENT and CONTINUE DESCENT arrows can be Blue or White, what’s the difference?

A

In general, BLUE is armed, White is not.
ToD can never be armed so it is always WHITE
Example, a BLUE Continue Descent arrow is where the plane will automatically continue descending after complying with a crossing restriction.

What do the different Altitude Constraint Colors mean?

A

White Circle- A constraint exists but is not being accounted for (ie Open Descent or VS)
Magenta Circle- The Constraint will be met
Amber Circle- The Constraint is predicted to be missed

A
Automatically:
The STATUS page is not Empty AND-
Following a failure, after the last Alert is cleared from the E/WD.
or
Flaps are selected to CONF1 for Approach
