Follow the correct school policies of your district while maintaining professionalism
Professional Competence and Responsibility
Must be qualified and a competent person in the area needed, if not you must know when to refer out
Must have knowledge of diverse backgrounds
must use valid and reliable assessment methods that are normed referenced
must keep a safeguard on all records to keep identity and privacy safe
must protect test, cant be copied or given to parents
Honesty and integrity in professional relationships
accurate qualification representation, dont act as if your more qualified than you are
respect all others in your field
avoid individuals who may be conflict of interests
Responsibility to schools, families, communities, the profession and society
Promote healthy educational environment for children
know and respect the laws
always be self aware of your own identity
always be a valuable resource to mentor, teach and supervise when needed
Contribute to knowledge based information
