Progressive leg weakness with upper motor neuron signs

(eg. contralateral hyperreflexia, positive Babinski sign, spasticity)

Sensory loss below the lesion
Can have sphincter involvement

A

MRI spinal cord immediately as risk of permanent spinal cord damage

Chest X-ray if malignancy is suspected
