– Anchored on hip

– Six pack muscle
action – crunch/set up
Trapezius
– Covers most upper back
– Shrug shoulders – shoulders go back
– Extension of neck/back – head goes back
Rhomboideus
– Upper back – between scapula
– Bring scapula together
serratus anterior
under armpit
Origin is on side
Brings shoulders forward
Pectoralis minor
– Anchored at ribs – front – attaches to scapula
– Top of shoulder
– Brings shoulder forward and down
Pectoralis major
– Covers hold chest
– Anchors at sternum – inserts at humorous
– Hug -brings arms across
Teres major
– Scapula is anchor – bottom – to humorous
– Adduction of arms
Latissimus dorsi
- lower back
- adduction - iron cross
supraspinatus
– Sits a top scapula – to top of humorous
– Holding humorous in socket
Deltoid
– Cover shoulder
– Abduction of arms
– lifts up arms
