Action of muscles of posterior compartment of thigh?
All flex knee and extend hip except biceps femoris short head which only flexes the knee
Nerve supply to the muscles of the posterior thigh?
All supplied by tibial branch of sciatic nerve (L5, S1, S2) except biceps femoris short head which is supplied by common fibular branch of sciatic nerve (L4 - S3)
What are the spinal nerve roots of the tibial branch of the sciatic nerve?
L5, S1, S2
