I - Radial Side of the base of the 1st metacarpal
A -Abducts thumb at carpometacarpel joint
Nerve - radial nerve (deep branch)
Artery - Posterior interosseous
Anconeus
O - Lateral epicondyle of humerus
I - lateral side of olecranon and upper 1/4 of ulna
A - Extends forearm
Nerve - Nerve to anconeus (from radial nerve)
Artery - Interosseous recurrent artery
Brachialis
O - Anterior surface of lower 1/2 of humerus and associated intermuscular septa
I -Coronoid process of ulna
A - Flexes forearm
Nerve - Musculocutaneous C5-C6
Artery - Brachial artery, and radial recurrent artery
Brachioradialis
O - Upper 2/3 of lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus
I - Lateral side of the base of the styloid process of the radius
A - Flexes elbow, assists in pronation and supination
Nerve - Radial nerve
Artery - Radial recurrent artery
Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis
O - Common extensor tendon (Lateral epicondyle of humerus)
I - Dorsum of the 3rd metacarpal bone (base)
A - Extends the wrist, abducts the hand
Nerve - Deep radial nerve
Artery - Radial artery
Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus
O - Lower 1/3 of lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus
I - Dorsum of the 2nd metacarpal bone (base)
A - Extends the wrist, abducts the hand

O - Common extensor tendon and middle 1/2 of posterior border of ulna
I - Medial side of the base of the 5th metacarpal
A - Extends the wrist, adducts the hand
Nerve - Deep radial nerve

Extensor Digiti Minimi
O - Common extensor tendon (lateral epicondyle of humerus)
I - Joins the extensor digitorum tendon to the 5th digit and inserts into extensor expansion
A - Extends the metacarpophalangeal, PIP and DIP of the 5th digit
Nerve - Deep radial nerve
Artery - Interosseous recurrent artery
Extensor Digitorum
O - Common extensor tendon (lateral epicondyle of humerus)
I -Extensor expansion of digits 2-5
A - Extends MCP, PIP, and DIP of digits 2-5
Extends wrist
Nerve - Deep Radial
Artery - Interosseous recurrent and posterior interosseous
Extensor Indicis
O - Interosseous membrane and the posterolateral surface of the distal ulna
I - It’s tendon joins the tendon of the extensor digitorum to the 2nd digit, both tendons insert into the extensor expansion
A - Extends the finger at the MCP, PIP, and DIP
Nerve - Deep radial
Artery - Posterior interosseous artery

O - Interosseous membrane and posterior surface of the distal radius
I - Base of proximal phalanx of the thumb
A - Extends the thumb at the MCP
Nerve - Deep radial

I - Base of the 2nd and 3rd metacarpals
A - Flexes wrist, abducts hand
Nerve - Median nerve

Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
O - Common flexor tendon and from medial border of olecranon and upper 2/3 of posterior border of the ulna
I - Pisiform, hook of hamate, and base of the 5th metacarpal
A - Flexes wrist, adducts hand
Nerve - Ulnar nerve
Artery - Ulnar artery
Flexor Digitorum Profundus
O - Posterior border of ulna, proximal 2/3 of medial border of ulna, interosseous membrane
I - Base of the distal phalanx of digits 2-5
A - Flexes MCP, PIP, DIP
Nerve - Median nerve for radial half, and ulnar nerve for ulnar half
Artery - Ulnar artery, anterior interosseous artery
