Q

Flexor retinaculum

A
  • specialized deep fascia
  • run concavity created by carpal bone
  • attaches to trapezium and scaphoid (laterally) and hamate and pisiform (medially)
  • forms carpal tuner (fibro-osseous canal)
  • tendons of intermediate and deep muscles and median nerve pass through tunnel
