What is the process for munitions/explosives escorts?

Answer 1

Upon receiving notification for a munitions escort, ECC will obtain the class of munitions, provide escort (if required), and notify the Installation Gate.

Question 2

What are the only munitions classes SF will escort?

Answer 2

SF patrols will only escort the munitions classes of 1.1 and 1.2.

Question 3

What if the munitions escort is 1.3 or higher?

Answer 3

If the munitions are category 1.3 or higher, the installation entry controller will release the shipment to LRS and MUNS personnel. No escort is required.

Question 4

What are the munitions procedures during FPCON Charlie?

Answer 4

Only mission critical munitions movements will be made during FPCON Charlie or higher, as determined by installation commander

Question 5

What are the munitions procedures during FPCON Delta?

Answer 5

There will be no movement of munitions, on or off-base during FPCON Delta.
