What are crime scenes?
Crime scenes are normally established for, but not limited to, the following:
Deaths.
Sexual assaults.
Robbery (completed or attempted).
Suicide (completed or attempted).
Bomb threat, contagious or bio-hazard substances, suspicious packages (confirmed)
Who are the personnel authorized to enter a crime scene?
Investigators and medical personnel will be the only personnel permitted to enter the area.
What form would you use for a crime scene?
Once the area is stabilized, document personnel entering on an AF Form 1109, Visitor Registration Log.
What are the procedures for evidence?
Maintain a complete “chain of custody” account of all personnel who handled evidence via an AF Form 52, Evidence Tag.
When can a crime scene be disrupted?
A crime scene can only be disrupted if rendering first aid
