A

21 years old or older operating a vehicle = 0.08% or higher blood alcohol concentration (BAC).
Operating a commercial vehicle = 0.04% or higher BAC.
Operating a vehicle younger than 21 years old = 0.01 or higher BAC

What are examples of Personal Contact?

A

Observations based in what officer sees, hears, smells.
Slurred speech
Red or glossy eyes
Disarrayed clothing
Alcoholic beverage smell
Sleepy or lethargic.
Evaluate driver by asking multiple questions or asking to do things simultaneously.
Ask to demonstrate something simple such as counting backwards, reciting alphabet, etc.
