13
Q

where do the reactants of photosynthesis come from?

A

water is absorbed through root hail cells in soil, travels in tube called xylem, up the stem and in the leaves

carbon dioxide is taken in by small holes on the underside of the leaves called stomata by diffusion

submerge the leaf in a beaker of boiling water (wait 3-5mins)
fill 1/3 of boiling tube w ethanol, place in hot water bath
submerge leaf in ethanol for 5 mins
wash leaf in water bath
