working the Breath Codes opens and energizes the throat chakra

Also there are a number of yoga poses that are good companion exercises.
example: Cobra pose, Bhujangasana
*ones inner channel still runs from head to soles of feet
**beyond the motion of lifting the upper body from floor IT BEGINS while prone feeling pressed to the earth from tarsal surface up through thighs, belly, chest, palms
**And beyond bending the neck backwards IT IS stretching from the sternum up the neck through the chin

example w breath = contracting MB + inner thighs + shoulder blades + roll eyes up + bring the breath up and out the CC

***Thousand Tiny Straws is a good pairing with Cobra pose

Q

Thousand Straws Breath
p220-223

A

to enliven ones body
energy channels within the body are called nadis, the larger ones are the meridians, including chakras

visualize the body in three sections:
feet to hips (lower)
hips to shoulders, including arms (mid)
top of shoulders to top of head (upper)

flow of breath will be from planar side of feet
to out the top of the head
process is to contract the lower section and inhale into it
as if sipping from 1000 straws
then exhale into the mid section,
while maintaining contraction in the lower section
now add contraction of mid section to contraction of lower
and inhale as if a 1000 straws through both sections
then exhale into the upper section
while maintaining contractions in lower and mid sections
now add contraction of upper section
and inhale as of 1000 straws through all sections
then exhale out the crown
while maintaining contractions
Now relax all muscles

best to repeat 3x

close with CCB in both directions

Exhale curling into a tightly held frond
Inhale unfurling one vertebrae at a time from sacrum to atlas

Breath Patterns for Healing
p226-228

A

to address pain felt in the body
to address a mental-emotive experience in order to be on the Frontside
to address where the mind goes after a morning or random scan, void pts or resistance pts…this is “Go to the Body” practice

It is squeezing that place while doing the breathwork
squeezing = acknowledging

Squeeze as if hugging the area so that it is enveloped
Breathe from and through the area into the Heart Ctr
Exhale out up and out from the Heart Ctr
(throat to crown and beyond)
Reverse the breath, maintaining squeeze
Breath from above head into Heart Ctr
Exhale out the affected area

close with CCB
