Title
This is written below the title, usually enclosed in parenthesis. It explains data on the table that is not clear
Headnote
This contains the sub-head and the row labels. The sub heads tell what the ____ contain. Each row label describes the data contained in the row
Stub
contains the master captions that describe the column captions and the column captions,in turn, describes the sub-column captions.
Box head
This contains all the quantitative and qualitative information presented in the table in rows and columns
Main body, field or text
appears immediately below the bottom line of the table. It explains, qualifies or clarifies items in the table that are not understandable or are missing
Footnote
Information presented in tables is discussed in textual form. it appears after they have been referred to in the text

may precede the table or table may be placed within the textual presentation Presentation must be clear, concise and explain relationships between and among the variable of the study
