Q

How does a mobility affect the circulation?

A
  • Circulation is more sluggish, blood tends to pool independent areas, causing Edema
  • Blood clots may form with stasis of blood or pressure on blood vessels
  • Orthostatic hypotension occurs after prolonged the mobility because reflexes are slow
