A
mitochondria are rod shaped structures that have cristae liquid inside. it is the second largest organelle and its matrix includes 70s ribosomes, circular DNA and enzymes. it is double membraned

what is the function of mitochondria?
A
it helps the cell to undergo cellular respiration, and performs aerobic respiration, where glucose is synthesised to supply energy to the cell. adenosine trisphosphate molecules are synthesised too
