what is the function of chloroplast?

A

chloroplast helps to absorb sunlight via chlorophyll, to be converted into chemical energy. this chemical energy then helps to synthesise glucose, which is synthesised into insoluble starch, starch grains and eventually sucrose to be stored inside the plant
