it is the third largest organelle, and it is bound by a double membrane. it contains a matrix called the stema, which includes ribosomes, circular DNA, enzymes and starch grains. it also contains chlorophyll which is a pigment

what is the function of chloroplast?
A
chloroplast helps to absorb sunlight via chlorophyll, to be converted into chemical energy. this chemical energy then helps to synthesise glucose, which is synthesised into insoluble starch, starch grains and eventually sucrose to be stored inside the plant
