Description
Increases myocardial contractile force and increases ventricular automacity

Indications
Hyperkalemia, hypocalcemia, hypermagnesemia, and calcium channel blocker toxicity
*Dialysis-Renal Failure, PEA, CCB OD, Crush Syndrome

Contraindications
Ventricular fibrillation, hypercalcemia, and possible digitalis toxicity

Precautions
Precipitate in patients taking Digoxin. Ensure large vein IV and flush pre/post administration

1 gram IV/IO
Avoid if patient is taking digoxin
