Cardiovascular or renal impairment. Effective only if there are sufficient stores of glycogen in the liver

Dosage Hypoglycemia
Adult: 1mg IM repeat every 10-20mins
Pedi: 0.1mg/kg IM/SC/IV child < 10kg

Pedi: 50-150 mcg/kg IV over 1 min
