clinical signs/symptoms
headache, papilledema, focal weakness, hemiparesis, ataxia, sensory disturbances (cerebral)
cord compression, sensory disturbances, back pain, weakness (spinal cord)
imaging for mets
discrete, multiple with contrast enhancement and surrounding edema
what types of mets are hemorrhagic?
lung, renal, chorio, melanoma
histologic features of mets?
VERY sharply demarcated from brain parenchyma, tumor necrosis
prognosis
very poor
