monomorphic nuclei, long fibrillar cytoplasmic processes, pseudorosettes (clusters of anuclear areas around blood vessels)
genetics
monosomy 22
22q problems (esp. spinal cord tumors)
NF2 (spinal cord)
prognosis
better for supratentorial tumors (adults do better)
