Eval: Leukocytosis Lumbar puncture thrombocytopenia PT/PTT electrolytes, BUN, creatinine, glucose blood cultures
Txt: supportive abx dexamtehasone chemoprophylaxis

Causes: viral bacterial - TB - syphilis fungal malignancy medication

SS: meningeal irritation fewer neurological s/s less acute onset and progression negative routine bacterial cultures fever HA N/V photophobia nuchal rigidity
Eval: CBC BUN, electrolytes, creatinine, glucose, blood cultures, PT/PTT LP MRI/CT
