What are the 4 signs of anaphylaxis?
A
- Marked upper airway oedema and bronchospasm.
- Tachycardia (heart rate over 100 BPM) and increased respiratory rate.
- Symptoms of allergy (tingling lips etc.)
- Abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea.

How would you treat anaphylaxis?
A
- Call an ambulance.
- Lie the pt flat and raise their feet to raise blood pressure.
- Remove the source of anaphylaxis.
- Administer 100% oxygen at 15 l per min through a non-rebreathe mask.
- Administer adrenaline.

What are the signs of angina?
A
- A crushing pain in chest which may radiate to the shoulder.
- Nausea / vomiting.
- Increased respiratory rate.
- Shortness of breath.
- Weak pulse or low blood pressure.
- Pale skin.

How to treat an angina attack?
A
Administer 2 puffs of GTM spray (400 micrograms) sublingual.
Take another after 5 mins if needed.
