Instructional videos
Two way communication because questions and feedback can be built in. Videos can be targeted to particular audiences and they can be paused for discussion or replayed to reinforce concepts.
Dvds and cds
Give viewers the opportunity to actively participate as they learn information.
Television and radio
Forms of mass media that reach many people. A shard disadvantage is that audiences can only interact directly during call in programs. Both are useful for communications simple slogans and messages and both can generate awareness interest excitement
Newspapers
Afford little opportunity for audience input or participation. They do reach and appeal to the general public.
Posters and brochures
Posters are better for communications simple slogans and messages while brochures can include more detail and are better for printing instructional information. Difficult to get feedback.
Flyer and fact sheets
Readers cannot give feedback.
Persuasive media
Advertising public relations and advocacy media all use persuasion to sell goods and services.
