  2. Discounts - Customers can get money off for a limited amount of time when they buy a product
  3. Competitions - Customer can be entered into a prize draw when purchasing a product
  4. Free samples - Customers can try the product before they buy → increases likelihood of a sale.
  5. Advertising - business can use broadcasting, printed media, apps etc. to inform consumers of their products
  6. Celebrity endorsements - business gets public figure to promote their product
