  1. Rotate 65, establish VYSE (84)
  2. Positive rate, no runway remaining, clear of obstacles, gear up
  3. 400ft AGL and 84kts, flaps up
  4. 500ft AGL, set climb power (27”, 2250)
  5. Clear obstacles, climb at 95 kts
  6. 1000ft, electric fuel pumps off (one at a time)

Minimum Altitudes

A
  • Simulated engine failures will be practiced on dual flights only.
  • Simulated engine failures initiated below 3000 AGL will only utilize the power level.
  • Simulated engine failures in the pattern will be initiated no lower than 400 AGL per the ACS.
  • All multi-engine maneuvers will be completed no lower than 3000 feet above ground level (AGL).
  • VMC Demos will be conducted above 3000 AGL in accordance with the ACS.

Slow Flight Clean

A
  1. Pre Manuever Checklist/Clearing Turns
  2. Stabilize (Flight Training Cruise)
  3. Reduce to 15” MP
  4. Below 100kts Props FULL FORWARD
  5. Increase pitch to 75kts (about 20” MP and 7.5 degrees nose high)
  6. ## Perform maneuvers lightly with no more than 30 degrees of bank
  7. Recover with FULL POWER, pitch down, resume Flight Training Cruise

  8. ## Increase power to maintain 65kts
  9. Recover with FULL POWER, Flaps TO, Lower Nose to VYSE
  10. Positive Rate, Gear UP
  11. Above 80kts Flaps UP
    12 Resume Flight Training Cruise
