What was the War of the roses and how did it end?

A

It was a war between to houses the Yorkist (white and the Lancastrian’s (red). It ended after the Battle of Bosworth when Henry Tudor (VII) defeated Richard III with the help of Sir William Stanley Richards ally but Henrys Step Father. This united the 2 houses.

Who was Henry VII (Tudor)?

A

He was a the last Lancastrian claimant through his mothers side of the family and grew up in Brittany as he was in exile from Richard.
