Before any site falls below, and remains in force untill all sites are in excess of and improvig

Display LVP Designator
Inform a/c when LVPs start and end
Pass to every a/c the current IRVR and changes
Pass to a/c any u/s relating to cat ii or iii not on the atis
Inform a/c if LVP conditions without safeguarding not yet implemented
TC Luton LVP Responsibility (Spacing)
Minimal Final intercept 10nm
Spacing of 15nm to be expected
LVP Landing clearance
Clearance by 3nm
If unable, inform a/c as to why - pilot may continue or elect to go around
If no clearance by 2nm aircraft shall be sent around
RVR reporting distance steps
1500-800 : 100m
800-400: 50m
400-0: 25m
When is RVR reported
Met vis <1500m
RVR display indicates equal to to less than max for system (1500)
Shallow fog reported or during forecast period
RVR u/s
Full system u/s - use met vis
If single sites are u/s, a/c to be informed but can continue to use provided that the SE is not the only useable site
How to report RVR

Report at begining of each approach and for any change .
