What is the influenza vaccine composed of ?
How effective is it ?
Trivalent (2-ant-A antigens, one anti-B antigen)
Quadrivalent (2 anti-A antigens, 2 anti-B antigens).
- 60% effective against influenza A
- 70% effective against influenza
WHat are the sot common things to cause pnuemonia ?
Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenza
How is pnuemonia spread ?
- Aerosol Inhalation; Microbiota aspiration; blood.
What is the tool used to access severity of pnuemonia, explain it and its grading.
-CRB 65 (Confusion, Respiration, BP, Age) = or > 2 HOSPITALISATION.
What causes bronchitis?
Typically viral – mycoplasma pneumoniae, adenovirus, COV.
What are the symptoms of bronchitis ?
- Nagging cough, no fever or chills, sputum, sob, infection of the tree, not alveoli.
What does SARS stand for ?
4- SARS is life-threatening (severe acute respiratory syndrome).
