Bacillus cereus
Food sitting out for a long time allowing for toxin production
Staph aureus
Honey and canned goods
Clostridium botulinum
Large quantity food kept warm for a long time. NOT fecal oral/person person
Clostridium perfringens
Unwashed produced, unpasteurized milk, raw eggs, no hand washing. Turtles.
Salmonella
From animals. Often in poultry.
Campylobacter jejuni
Uncooked foods, sprouts, deli meat, hot dogs, smoked seafood, soft cheese, raw milk
Listeria monocytogenes
Raw fish
Vibrio parahaemolyticus
Fecal oral, water
Shigella sonnei, flexnori or dysenteriae
Fecal oral, found in ground meat, unpasteurized milk, greens, frozen cookie dough
E. coli
Water. Especially water next to latrines
Vibrio cholerae
Fecal oral. Travelers prone with unwashed fruits and veggies
S. typhi
