A

Local anaesthesia for:

  • IV cannulation
  • IO infusion
  • Suturing
  • Finger thoracostomy in the conscious patient

  • Tinnitus, dizziness, anxiety, confusion, perioral numbness
  • Cardiovascular effects: Bradycardia, hypotension, dysrhythmias
  • CNS effects : Respiratory depression
