In what condition can you change the intensity of the instrument panel lighting?
When NT is selected on the instrument light switch.
What prevents the panels from dimming to extinction?
A 1K ohm resistor connected in series with the control potentiometer.
What is the purpose of the negative channel dimmer?
To control the dimming of the LED indicators.
What is the purpose of the single channel dimmer?
To control the dimming of the aft interseat console [zone 5]
How many cabin lights are there?

Where is the cabin light control unit located and what is it powered from?
The rear of the cabin on the roof.
DC General 2 Busbar.
How many egress lights are on each cockpit door?

[5 around the frame, 1 on the jettison handle]
how many egress lights are in each side of the cabin?

How are the PSU’S charged?
Trickle charged from DC Gen busbar 1.
How many water operated switches are there and where are they located?

2 installed in the bottom section of the aircraft(1 fore and 1 aft)
1 in each cabin door
