Hydraulics Flashcards
What does the number 1 System supply?
1/2 for the 3 MRA’s + 1 TRA and no3 Ancillary system.
Where is the ancillary system manifold located?
Under the cockpit floor STN 2279F
What does the number 2 system supply?
1/2 for the 3 MRA’s + 1 TRA.
What does the number 3 system supply?
Wheel brake system and the rotor brake system.
What pressure does the system operate at?
140 Bar / 2000 Psi
What type of filter is in the reservoir filter housing?
Disposable
Where will the level be on the No1 reservoir window when the No3 system is charged to 140 bar?
At No3 accu Charged.
Where is the No3 Accumulator?
Left sponson.
When does the pressure relief valve (PRV) open?
155 bar.
When would you get HYD#LOPRESS?
103 bar.
What is the purpose of the ancillary hydraulic manifold?
To protect the ancillary system from over pressurisation when using the hand pump.
How does the safety interlink on the HYD SEL switch work?
Each systems shut off valve is powered via the other systems pressure switch, therefore if one system loses pressure the other cant be turned off accidentally .
Where is the rotor brake manifold?
On the side of the No1 Hydraulic manifold.
No1 hydraulics is selected off in flight, if No2 fails what happens?
No1 comes straight back on.
