A

The confederate would appraoch bystander, as they walk past they would drop the pen and keep walking.
If bystander got the pen, called the confederate then this would be classed as helping.

Describe the ‘Hurt Leg’ scenario.

A

The confederate would be wearing a leg brace carrying magezines. They would rop the mageznes and struggle to pick them up when the bsytander was in sight. Helping behaviour was if the bystander physically helped to pick them up or offered to.

Describe the ‘Blind Man’ scenario.

A

The confederate wouyld be carrying a white cane and wearing dark glasses. They would walk to the edge of a side walk as the lights turn green, and act as if they were going to cross. Helping behavioure is if the bsyatnder put there arm out to stop them or verbally told them to stop.

What was the conclusion from levines study?

A

Wealthier cultures arer less likely to help and are individualist which shows we are taught to look after ourselves.
Where as, collectivist cultures are more likely to help.
