Q

What is interval data?

A

Similar to ordinal, but the intervals between the values are equal in measurement with mathematical value EG temperature

Q

Nominal data AO3

A

Strength- easily generated from closed questions quickly, time efficient. Mode can be applied
Limitation- Not complex and can appear overly simplistic

Q

Orinal data AO3

A

Strength- more detailed than nominal data, scores are ordered in a linear fashion
Limitation- The intervals between scores are not equal and the mean cannot be applied.

Q

Interval data AO3

A

Strength- more informative than nominal and ordinal as the gaps between data are equal and therefore more reliable
Limitation- The intervals can be arbitrary (random, not systematic)
