- Ilioinguinal
- Genitofemoral
- Lateral Cutaneous of Thigh
- Femoral
- Obturator
Iliohypogastric O/D
O: L1
D:
mm: anterior/lateral abs
skin: ant, lat abs, glutes
Ilioinguinal O/D
O: L1
D: Skin over superior/medial thigh, genitals
Genitofemoral O/D

D:
mm: cremaster
skin: genitals, sup/medial thigh
Lateral Cutaneous Nerve of thigh O/D
O: L2-L3
D:
skin: lateral thigh
Femoral O/D

D:
mm: Anterior thigh
skin: ant/med thigh, med ankle, leg, foot
Obturator O/D
O: L2-L4
D:
mm: adductors
skin: adductors
Femoral Nerve Injury causes
- Stab/gunshot
- Can’t extend knee, trouble w/ hip flexion
- wasting of quads
- No sensation over ant/medial thigh
Injury to Obturator Nerve causes
- Paralysis of adductors
- No sensation over medial thigh
- Occurs by pressure on nerve by fetal head during pregnancy
Meraglia Parasthetica
- Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve entrapment
- Occurs near ASIS as nerve passes under inguinal ligament
- Sensory alteration/burning pain on lateral thigh
- Causes: trauma, during baby delivery in stirrups, tight clothing, complication from surgery (hernia)
