The two of us went to the movies with [some other] folks.

If one knows the Dharma, one has to practice well.

When I went to the monastery, I did three prostrations.
རྒན་ལགས་ཆོབ་མང་པོ་སློང་གི་འདུག
(Our) teacher makes a lot of jokes.
ཆོབ་མང་པོ་བསླངས་ན་གད་མོ་ཤོར་གྱི་རེད།
If one makes a lot of jokes, one will laugh.

I did not waste (my) time during the holiday.
ཁ་སང་གསུང་ཆོས་ལ་ཕྱིན་མེད། གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན་དུས་ཚོད་རག་མ་སོང་།
Yesterday, I did not go to the dharma talk because I did not find the time.
ཁ་སང་ཁྱེད་རང་གཉིས་ག་རེ་གནང་པ་ཡིན།

སྔོན་མ་ངའི་ལུང་པ་ལ་ཕ་མ་མཉམ་དུ་བསྡད་པ་ཡིན།
In the past, in my country, I lived with my parents.
ཁྱེད་རང་བདུན་ཕྲག་སྔོན་མར་ཟློས་གར་ཁང་ལ་ཕེབས་མེད་པས།
Did you not go to the theatre last week?

It was great fun at the party on Saturday.

Yesterday, at the party it got late.
ཁ་སང་གསུང་ཆོས་བློ་ལ་མགུས་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་བྱུང་། གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན་ངའི་དཔེ་ཆ་དགའ་ཤོས་ཁྲིད་གནང་སོང་།
Yesterday, the Dharma talk was really interesting (to me) because (s/he) taught my favourite pecha.
