What is baptism?

What prayer is used in the ritual for baptism?
Baptismal blessing, asking God to bless the water and cleanse the person being baptized.
How is baptism celebrated?
By immersion or pouring of water, with the words invoking the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
What responsibility do parents accept at Baptism?
To train their children in faith and teach them to follow God’s commandments.
Where does the Baptism ceremony begin?
At the church entrance, where parents and godparents gather with the person being baptised.
What does the priest or deacon ask the parents?

-If they’ll raise the child in faith.
