Chapter 12 - Linear Relationships (12-01. 12-02, 12-03) [ARCHIVE] Flashcards
1
Q
What would the formula be for a table going up by two every time?
A
2n + 1
2
Q
What is the rule for finding the pattern?
A
If a number goes up by 3 at a time the multiplier for the formula is 3, and the equation is T = 3n + 1
3
Q
What do you add at the start of every rule?
A
” T = “ otherwise you could lose marks.
4
Q
What is collinear and linear?
A
Collinear: Points that lie on the same straight line. For example, the points (-1, -1), (0, 1), and (2, 5) are collinear points because they all lie on the same line.
Linear: Refers to the straight line itself.
