Etiology of Testicular Cancer?
Predisposed: Undescended Testis when younger (Cryptorchidism)
What is HPV?
Family of virus that cause warts.
Can cause genital warts or cervical cancer
Most common STD
Etiology and Treatment of HPV?
E=Sexual contact with infected person
T=Vaccine
S&S of HPV?
Genital Warts
High risk strains may cause cervical cancer
Often Asymptomatic
Diagnose HPV?
No test for HPV
Physical Exam for genital warts
Pap test for cervical cancer-Most women can fight off virus
What is infertility?
The inability of getting pregnant after 1 year of unprotected intercourse.
*must be having intercourse
What is endometriosis?
Can cause infertility.
What is the treatment for genital herpes?
Antiviral medication. valtrex or cyclovere
What is prostate cancer?
Neoplasm of prostate tissue
May metastasize to bones, organs
S&S of Prostate Cancer?
Mostly asymptomatic
Painful urination
Low back pain
