Goal-setting theory
A theory that says that specific and difficult goals with feedback leads to higher performance
Variable pay

Perceived fairness of the amount and allocation of rewards among individuals
Procedural justice
The perceived fairness of the process used to determine the distribution of rewards
Interactional justice
The perception of being well treated by authority figures
Interpersonal justice
The perception that employees are treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect
Informational justice
The perception that relevant information is shared with employees.
