Lecture 9 Flashcards

1
Q

Briefly describe the ups and downs of the HEc education?

A

Late 1800 HEc was taken very seriously (very broad)

Feminist movement in the 60/70s wanted women to have greater opportunities to participate in the outside world (without questioning its values and its processes)
-very narrow

This has lead to the “Dumping of HEc” and a need to re-widen the scope
