Results: men and women are nearly equally verbally aggressive, while men are much more physically aggressive and women more often indirectly aggressive.

Schachter and Singer (1962) performed a study about two factor theory (physical arousal and labeling causes more aggression or more laughter when triggered).

Results: people showed more anger when they were with an annoying person (arousal + label of annoying) and more laughter when with a funny person (arousal + label of funny)
