Study by Chen and Bargh (1997) on self-fulfilling prophecy of stereotypes: white participants were subliminally primed with white or black faces. They were then assigned a white partner that was not primed. The participant and partner had to play a game in dyads, external judges scored for hostile language usage.

Results: priming with black faces resulted in more hostile behaviour than being primed with white faces.
