A
A: Amount of time the witness had the suspect under observation.

What is the procedure for identifying suspects?
A
- You must record accurately and keep the first description of a suspect from and witness
- this must be made and kept in a form which is legible and can be produced in court
- this must be recorded before any identification procedure can take place
- this must be given to the solicitor acting for the suspect
