Process theory?
Equity theory.

Individual drive = existence needs, relatedness needs and growth needs.

What is self serving bias?
Our success comes from our traits and disposition, our failure from factors external to us.
What is Attribution error?
Others failure comes from their traits and dispositions, their success comes from external factors.

Low job satisfaction costs so managers role to change the attitude and behavior.

What is contingency theory?
Based on traits these theories assume that a leader’s effectiveness is dependent on the situation.
What is path-goal theories?
Leaders clear the path in order for employees to achieve their goal.

Optimism. Position perks and prestige. Personal gratification. Involvement. Hardworking.

Reactive. Thinking globally. Balance. Techno-literacy. Fun. Informal. Self-reliance. Job hopping.
Flexible hours, informal work enviro. Multitasking. Want lots to do and freedom to do it their way.
Management style for X gen?
Understanding the need for conformity and respectful of legitimate authority, but expect referent power in action.
Free agents, distrusting corporate motives.
