Q

why does kierekgeard disagree with the proverbs of silence over speaking

A

because they warn you about the consequences of speaking, i.e that you may get in trouble, but those consequences are a result of the person that you are and the thoughts that you have. its better to be punished for who you are than reserving yourself by being someone you are not

Q

example of Possibilities despair to lack necessary

A

you can get lost in the endless stream of possibilities, life needs some form of confinement. Endless possibilities leads to a form of inaction

to become anything requires the closing of doors, you can’t be a doctor or whatever without closing the door to become a lawyer

Q

what is neccesary despair to lack possibility

A

if you are a fatalist, IE believe in fate, you can’t hope thus you are in despair. You can’t hope because there is only one way things can go, there are no possibilities only one reality. only thing that will happen is what is bound to come about regardless

the person who lacks possibility cannot breathe. They are stuck and cannot escape
