urban centres across Canada. In most provinces/territories we
must be licensed to practice.
what do audiologists do ?
- screen, assess, identify and treat hearing loss, auditory processing disorders, tinnitus and
other auditory disorders as well as balance problems for people of all ages - advocate for the prevention
of these disorders
where do audiologists work ?
- independently or as part of interprofessional teams in: hospitals, clinics, schools, early intervention
programs, research centres, private practices, rehabilitation centres, government agencies, manufacturing
companies, industrial settings, colleges and universities
