sweating (increased amphetamine, decreased atropine) bullae (carbon monoxide)
Diagnosis - odour?
ethanol, arsanic or organophosphates (garlic smell), cyanide (almond smell)
Methods of decreased absorption?
syrup of ipecac, activated charcoal, stomach pump
Methods of increased elimination?
activated charcoal, haemoperfusion, haemodialysis
Paracetemol Hepatotoxicity?
Minor metabolite NAPQI, causes liver dmage, inativated by glutathione, gltahione reserves used up in large doses, Acetylcysteine boosts production
